. The Valley of the Queens, or “Place of Beauty,” is one of the archaeological sites in Egypt. It dates back to the Pharaonic era. It is the burial place of queens and princesses. Its name is “Ta-Set-Nefru,” which means “Place of the Pharaoh’s Sons” because queens from the Pharaonic dynasties were buried there 18, 19 And 20, during the period from 1070 to 1550 BC, in addition to many princes, princesses and nobles. The valley is located on the west bank of the Nile River, far south of the Theban Cemetery in Luxor Governorate (southern Egypt).
